Questa edizione è riveduta mantendendo le caratteristiche e gli stessi colori disponibili

nei libri precedenti. Sono stati aggiunti ulteriori grafici e colori.

Sono inclusi un 10Y e 5GY, un grafico del terreno per i terreni con glauconite, un grafico

suolo 5R per l’Australia e Sud-Est asiatico, e un grafico suolo 7.5R per i suoli tropicali

e semi-tropicali e una pagina “bianca” che mostra mezzi punti 8,5-9,5

in valore con cromaticità di 1 e 2 per N, 7.5YR, 10YR, e 2.5Y.

 

E’ possibile utilizzare questa pagina per descrivere carbonato, silice, gesso, e precipitati di sali solubili e le evaporiti comuni in ambienti aridi e semi-aridi così come i materiali molto chiari, come terra di diatomee e ceneri vulcaniche.

 

Il libro possiede anche queste pagine di colore grigio chiaro con una diminuzione di abbagliamento solare.

I gettoni di colore sono incassati in ogni pagina impermeabile per permettere di eliminare facilmente sporco e detriti.
